Hillel Neuer Says He Won Harvard Debate on UN and Israel
Original: Hillel Neuer Wins Harvard Debate on UN and Israel, Exposes University's Support for Francesca Albanese
Hillel Neuer, head of the Geneva-based group UN Watch, says he won a debate at Harvard on the UN and Israel, using the occasion to criticise the university's ties to UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese. The claim circulated mainly through his own organisation's channels, with reaction largely along familiar lines over UN treatment of Israel and campus controversy.
Why now: Harvard and UN-related Israel debates remain highly charged, so supporters are amplifying a claimed victory on the topic
