HackerTV turns community-recommended YouTube videos into 24/7 channels
Original: Show HN: HackerTV – HN's most-recommended Youtube videos as 24/7 TV channels
A developer has launched HackerTV, a service that curates the most-recommended YouTube videos into continuous 24/7 TV-style channels, aiming to recreate the passive viewing experience of traditional television using crowd-approved content. The launch is drawing attention among tech enthusiasts interested in alternative ways of discovering and watching video content without algorithmic recommendations.
Why now: It is a newly launched project that appeals to people interested in nostalgic linear TV formats built from curated internet content.
