MLB proposes delaying salary cap start until 2028
Original: MLB propone postergar el inicio del tope salarial hasta 2028 https:// fed.brid.gy/r/https://www.elna cional.com/2026/11/
Major League Baseball has put forward a proposal to postpone the start of a salary cap until 2028, according to El Nacional. The reported offer would give teams and the players' union a longer runway before any cap takes effect. Salary caps have long been a flashpoint in negotiations between MLB and the players, who have historically resisted cap systems common in other North American leagues.
Why now: Salary cap negotiations directly affect team payrolls and player contracts, making any delay proposal major news for baseball fans.
