Former Israeli army press staffer accuses military of twisting truth on Gaza
Original: Israeli army twisted truth on Gaza, says former military press staffer https://www. middleeastmonitor.com/20261103 -isra
A former member of the Israeli army's spokesperson unit said Monday that the military distorted information about the war in Gaza, accusing it of manipulating what the public was told. The claim comes from someone with direct insider knowledge of how the army's public communications were handled, fuelling ongoing debate over the credibility of official Israeli military statements during the conflict.
Why now: A former insider publicly criticising the army's wartime messaging adds weight to accusations of misinformation around the Gaza war.
