Minnesota voters are placing their 'I Voted' stickers at memorial sites for Alex Pretti and Renee Good, two men whose deaths became tied to anger over aggressive deportation operations across the United States. According to the Guardian, residents say the gesture sends a clear message about violent deportations during this midterm election cycle, turning the stickers into a quiet form of protest at the memorials.

Why now: Voters are linking their midterm ballots to recent deaths tied to deportation raids, making the memorials a focus of election-day grief and protest.
