Original: stomp
A woman in Singapore fell eight storeys onto a roof, sat up and spent around 20 minutes scrolling on her phone before walking away, according to reports shared by Singapore news outlet Stomp. The unusual survival story is circulating alongside other Stomp items, including a woman taping up a myna bird, which drew concern from animal welfare group ACRES, and a series of fall and accident reports across the island.
Why now: The woman's apparent survival of an eight-storey fall, followed by casually using her phone, is striking and widely shared.
