Chinese Volunteers Fighting for Ukraine Draw Attention

Original: подразделение

The Guardian has reported that volunteer fighters from China are serving in a Ukrainian military unit, noting that not all of them support Russia despite Beijing's alignment with Moscow. The report highlights how Chinese citizens have joined Ukraine's side in the war, a detail drawing interest given China's official position of neutrality and its close ties to Russia.

Why now: The report is notable because China officially maintains neutrality while its citizens fight for Ukraine against Russia.
