Original: I have not been able to switch out of xorg yet , have been using i3 as my main window manager , just installed kde plasm

A Linux user on Fedora says they have yet to move from Xorg to Wayland, having used the i3 window manager for years, but after installing KDE Plasma on a new PC found that Wayland has been heavily optimised. They are now asking for recommendations, mentioning the Sway compositor as an option they have not yet tried.

Why now: The ongoing migration from Xorg to Wayland is a hot topic among Linux desktop users.
