Astrophotographer apologises for spamming Orion Nebula shots
Original: Sorry. So spammy. Turns out I had another target in there overnight from before the Rosette was high enough. Just Orions
An astrophotographer in a city has apologised for posting another Orion Nebula image taken overnight from an inner-city rooftop, explaining the target was captured before the Rosette Nebula rose high enough. The image was shot from a light-polluted urban location rather than a dark-sky site, which is why the observer apologised for repeatedly sharing Orion views.
Why now: Urban astrophotography of the Orion Nebula from a light-polluted rooftop is of interest to amateur astronomy communities.
