Microsoft Gives Away Bizarre Alligator Xbox Series X

Original: xbox alligator console

Microsoft has created a one-of-a-kind Xbox Series X console covered in alligator design as part of a giveaway promotion. The stunt drew attention because Xbox is reportedly not permitted to market GTA 6 directly, so it leaned into an unusual custom console instead. Gaming outlets including Kotaku and Pure Xbox covered the giveaway, calling it the most extreme custom console the company has produced.

Why now: The absurd alligator-themed console design and the reported GTA 6 marketing restriction behind it are drawing amused attention from gamers.
