Sufi-style verse on finding God within sparks reflection

Original: Forget the Kaaba, God. Come right here, beside me, by my brazier and pipe. Your home is exactly here for me: in my heart

A devotional passage in the tradition of Sufi poetry is circulating, addressing God directly and asking why seek the divine at the Kaaba when God's home can be found in the heart, beside the brazier and pipe. The sentiment reflects mystical Islamic writing that stresses inner closeness to God over physical pilgrimage, and readers are sharing it as an expression of personal, intimate faith.

Why now: People are drawn to its strikingly intimate reframing of devotion, placing God's dwelling in the heart rather than at the Kaaba.
