Horizon: an AI-powered personal news radar
Original: Thysrael/Horizon
A new open-source project called Horizon, published on GitHub by developer Thysrael, lets users build their own AI-powered news radar that generates daily news briefings in both English and Chinese. The Python-based tool has begun attracting early attention from developers interested in automating personalised news summaries, though detailed reviews and real-world usage remain limited so far.
Why now: Interest in AI tools that automate personalised news summarisation is growing, and a new open-source option draws developer attention.
