Not Forgotten: Remembering the Persecuted Church
Original: Not Forgotten — the Persecuted Church
Faith communities are drawing attention to the persecution of Christians around the world under the banner 'Not Forgotten'. The Assemblies of God denomination is among those promoting remembrance and prayer for believers who face harassment, violence, or legal repression because of their faith. The campaign urges congregations to keep persecuted Christians in mind rather than letting their plight fade from public concern.
Why now: Ongoing reports of violence and repression against Christians in several regions are prompting churches to rally support and awareness.
