Privacy-focused GrapheneOS drawing praise from Pixel users
Original: Yes! I've been using # GrapheneOS every day since May 2023 on my Google Pixel phones, and I absolutely love it! ❤ Pixel
A long-term user reports running GrapheneOS daily since May 2023 on Google Pixel phones, upgrading from a Pixel 6a to a Pixel 9a while staying on the de-Googled, open-source Android system. The endorsement highlights growing interest in privacy-focused custom ROMs that strip Google services from Android devices, with the free software and FOSS communities among those championing the project.
Why now: Rising interest in de-Googled, privacy-respecting Android alternatives is driving users to share their experiences.
