A Brazilian under-20 championship match between Uberlandia and Mamore descended into chaos as a world record 51 red cards were shown. Forty-three players and eight staff members were sent off during the game. The extraordinary disciplinary meltdown has drawn widespread attention and mockery online as one of the wildest scenes football has produced.
Why now: The sheer scale of the mass sending-off is an unprecedented, almost unbelievable event in football.
