Colossal Biosciences cofounder and CEO Ben Lamm says his company chose to engage with the Trump administration rather than avoid it, arguing 'you don't put your head in the sand for four years.' The comments, made in an interview, are drawing attention given the debate over tech founders aligning with the White House.

Why now: The interview sparked discussion because it shows a biotech leader actively courting Trump administration support for a conservation project.
