Djokovic misses ATP Finals for second time in two decades

Original: atp finals

Novak Djokovic will not contest the season-ending ATP Finals, missing the year-end championships for only the second time in 20 years, according to German outlet n-tv. The absence marks a notable shift in the men's tour, as the Serbian has long been a fixture at the elite tournament that closes the tennis season.

Why now: Djokovic's rare absence from the ATP Finals is an unusual development for one of tennis's dominant players.
