Adam Driver says he's done playing Kylo Ren
Original: Adam Driver Says ‘The Ship Has Sailed’ on ‘The Hunt for Ben Solo’ and He’s Done Playing Kylo Ren: ‘It’s Over’ # Variety
Adam Driver has closed the door on returning to Star Wars, saying 'the ship has sailed' on a proposed project called 'The Hunt for Ben Solo' and that his time playing Kylo Ren is over. In remarks reported by Variety, the actor said simply: 'It's over.' The statement ends speculation about a sequel centered on his character, who died in 2019's 'The Rise of Skywalker.' Fans have long campaigned for Ben Solo's return, making the definitive rejection a talking point.
Why now: Star Wars fans have long hoped for Kylo Ren's return, and Driver's definitive refusal ends that speculation.
