A statement labelled Boswell Conjecture #1 argues that humankind has lost control of its material legacy, claiming society can no longer sort, discard, conserve or curate its own story. The idea is published via the Silent Museum project and tagged around museum, culture, art, society and environment themes.

Why now: The provocative claim that humanity cannot curate its own cultural and material record invites debate about waste, preservation and collective memory.
