White House Releases 308-Word AI Accord With a Misspelling
Original: Here’s The White House’s 308-Word AI ‘Accord’ In Full—Including Misspelling
The White House has published a short, 308-word AI 'accord', a compact document laying out commitments around artificial intelligence. Coverage, including Forbes' reproduction of the text in full, has flagged that the document contains a misspelling, drawing attention and some mockery alongside discussion of its unusually brief substance. Critics question whether such a short pledge carries weight.
Why now: The brevity of the AI accord and the misspelling in an official White House document are being picked over by media and social users.
