Iberville Parish Council rejects Entergy solar farm again
Original: Iberville Parish Council denies Entergy solar farm proposal a second time
The Iberville Parish Council in Louisiana has denied Entergy's solar farm proposal for the second time. The rejection stalls the utility's efforts to develop a solar energy project in the parish, though details on the council's reasons or the project's scale have not been disclosed. The repeated denial suggests continued local opposition or unresolved concerns over the plan.
Why now: The council's second rejection of a major utility's renewable energy project raises questions about local resistance to solar development.
