Original: And now we turn to the Senate Judiciary Committee for the sports report: https:// bergetoons.blogspot.com/2026/0 9/toon-
A political cartoon circulating on Mastodon jokes that the Senate Judiciary Committee is delivering a sports report, riffing on senators Eric Schmitt and Amy Klobuchar alongside special counsel Jack Smith, January 6 and the Iowa Hawkeyes. The piece, published on the Bergetoons blog, blends Capitol Hill figures with basketball imagery, and commenters are sharing it for its satirical take on the committee's political theatrics.
Why now: The cartoon's absurdist mash-up of judiciary politics and college basketball satire is being shared and discussed online.
