A24 is developing a film based on the SCP Foundation, the collaborative horror fiction project, but fans say the studio never contacted the SCP Wiki team and has not committed to releasing the film under the Creative Commons licence the project requires. The horror community is pushing back, arguing the studio may be ignoring the licensing terms that govern the shared universe.

Why now: Fans are upset that A24 appears to be adapting a Creative Commons work without honouring its licensing requirements.
