Bungie has announced drastic changes coming to Marathon, its struggling extraction shooter, saying it plans to grow the game beyond its extraction roots in the coming months. The move follows a continued slump in the game's player numbers, with the studio apparently hoping a broader direction can win back audiences and steady the game's future.
