Israeli officials say the co-pilot of a flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv attempted to crash the aircraft, but passengers overpowered him before anyone was harmed. Israel's prime minister's office said the incident was not a hijacking. The account has drawn widespread attention as an extraordinary example of passengers intervening mid-flight.
