Original: Rusia advierte de una respuesta nuclear ante cualquier movimiento de la OTAN en Kaliningrado
Russia has issued a warning that it would consider a nuclear response to any NATO military move against Kaliningrado, its exclave on the Baltic Sea wedged between Poland and Lithuania. The statement, reported by Fox News, heightens tensions between Moscow and the alliance at a time when the Baltic region has become one of the most sensitive flashpoints of the confrontation over Ukraine.
Why now: Renewed nuclear rhetoric from Russia over the militarised Baltic exclave raises fears of escalation between NATO and Moscow.
