Sticker shock over golf clubs costing $400 or more
Original: /blinks. Do people really spend $400 plus on a single golf club? # Golf # Sports # HolyFuckingShit
A social media user is expressing disbelief that golfers routinely pay $400 or more for a single club, asking whether such prices are really normal. Premium drivers and specialist irons from major manufacturers do commonly retail in that range, and reactions to the post centre on surprise at how expensive the sport has become, with some golfers defending the cost of high-end equipment.
Why now: High equipment prices in golf strike non-players as absurd, prompting surprise and debate
