Asean Today criticised for AI image with reversed airplane seats
Original: RE: https:// mastodon.social/@aseantoday/11 7362703404928522 Look at this bad AI image they used for their news article
The news outlet Asean Today is being criticised after publishing an article with an AI-generated illustration of an airplane cabin in which the seats face the wrong direction. Commenters are calling the image embarrassing and an example of low-quality AI-generated content, questioning why a news organisation would use such imagery instead of a real photograph.
Why now: News organisations using flawed AI-generated images instead of real photography is a growing point of public criticism.
