Premier League clubs unlikely to back measures, fans say
Original: @ stuart @ atomicpoet they should be, but not sure if there'll be 15 # PremierLeague clubs who'd vote for that. No City
Football fans are debating whether Premier League clubs would support a proposed measure, with scepticism that the required 15 clubs would vote in favour. The argument centres on money: excluding Manchester City would mean less television revenue, and clubs are seen as unlikely to back anything that costs them income.
Why now: Ongoing debate about Premier League governance and whether clubs will vote against their own financial interests regarding Manchester City.
