BTS fans flock to SFMOMA for RM's art collection
Original: BTS fans descend on SFMOMA to see RM's personal art collection
Crowds of BTS fans are visiting the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art to view works from the personal art collection of RM, the group's leader and a well-known collector. The museum is displaying pieces tied to his collecting, drawing a wave of K-pop followers into an art institution and drawing attention to the crossover between fandom and contemporary art.
Why now: RM's fame and his reputation as a serious art collector are drawing BTS fans who rarely visit museums.
