Original: 🟢 Diplomacy | 4/10 🇺🇰 Iranian FM Statement on RAF Fairford Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi dismissed British PM Burnha
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has rejected allegations by the British Prime Minister, referred to as Burnham, connecting suspected bombers at RAF Fairford in England to Iran. Tehran dismisses the claimed connection, while London has raised the alleged Iranian link. The exchange adds fresh friction to already strained UK-Iran relations, with the base incident under ongoing investigation.
Why now: A direct diplomatic dispute between Iran and the UK over a security incident at a British air base is drawing attention.
