Pete Hegseth's 'Project Meridian' purge of commanders draws criticism
Original: “Project Meridian”? Kegsbreath gets rid of more commanders with experience and appoints these morons? A more appropriate
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is removing more experienced military commanders at the Pentagon and appointing replacements as part of an initiative reportedly called Project Meridian, according to a Hill report on the Pentagon's future-warfare plans. Critics say the shake-up sidelines seasoned leadership, and some are harshly mocking the program's name as the moves feed ongoing debate over politicization of the US military.
Why now: Hegseth's latest dismissal of senior commanders is the newest flashpoint in the controversy over his leadership of the Pentagon.

- “Project Meridian”? Kegsbreath gets rid of more commanders with experience and appoints these morons?
