Trump orders US Government to call AI 'Super Intelligence'
Reports say President Trump has ordered the US Government to adopt the term 'Super Intelligence' when referring to artificial intelligence. The directive, covered by policy outlet The Verge as an executive order, has drawn attention for its focus on terminology rather than concrete AI policy measures, with observers debating what the rebrand signals about the administration's approach to AI.
Why now: The unusual framing of AI as 'Super Intelligence' in an official government order is drawing commentary and debate.
