A new film based on the SCP Foundation collaborative fiction universe is moving forward, distinct from the previously reported A24 adaptation. The production company has stated it will comply with the Creative Commons licence under which the SCP community releases its work, an important point given the shared-writing nature of the property. Japanese entertainment media are covering the announcement.
Why now: Fresh news of a second SCP Foundation film with an explicit CC-licence pledge, notable alongside the A24 adaptation.
