Russian drone reportedly hits Moldova near Chisinau
Original: BIG DEVELOPMENT A RUSSIAN SHAHED DRONES HAS HIT MOLDOVA NEAR THE CAPITAL (CHISINAU)
Reports are circulating that a Russian-made Shahed drone has struck territory in Moldova close to the capital, Chisinau. Moldova is not a party to the war in Ukraine, so any strike on its soil would mark a serious escalation and raise questions about regional security. Details about casualties, damage, and official confirmation from Moldovan authorities remain limited.
Why now: A reported Russian drone strike inside Moldova, a non-belligerent country near Ukraine, would be a major escalation
