Russia deploys special munitions against pylons and bridges, Zelensky aide says

Original: Lousy news: Russia has started using special munitions to destroy high-voltage pylons and metal bridges — Zelensky's adv

Ukraine says Russia has begun using special munitions to destroy high-voltage pylons and metal bridges. Mykhailo Podolyak, an advisor to President Zelensky, said the Russians used a shaped-charge cutting munition (KRSN) on a jet-powered UAV in Kyiv for the first time. The development raises concerns about attacks on critical infrastructure spreading beyond energy grids to transport links.

Why now: Reports of a new type of Russian munition being used against Ukrainian infrastructure signal an escalation of the war's targeting.
