US politics post decried as an obscenity
Original: RE: https:// mastodon.social/@decurtins/117 363910549747845 this is an obscenity # uspol # uspolitics # politics # fasci
A social media user has branded a US politics post an obscenity, resharing it with the tags uspol, uspolitics, politics and fascism. The terse condemnation is drawing small engagement, but it reflects the sharply polarised tone of current American political debate, with commenters invoking fascism to describe the political behaviour they are reacting to.
Why now: Ongoing polarised US political discourse, with users condemning political conduct in extreme terms
