Sydney University accused of silence over Israel complicity

Original: Hey Sydney University, your silence lets the criminal Israeli regime get away with genocide and maintains your complicit

Campaigners are pressing the University of Sydney to speak out on Gaza, arguing its silence enables what they call the Israeli regime's genocide and amounts to complicity. The criticism follows reporting by Michael West Media on the university's handling of free speech disputes linked to the issue, with calls circulating for boycott and divestment actions.

Why now: Ongoing protests and reporting about university ties and speech policies over the Gaza war are keeping the pressure on institutions like Sydney University.
