Original: On the RAF Fairford incident, Burnham says, "There are strong indications that Iran played a part." But on what evidence
UK mayor Andy Burnham has said there are strong indications that Iran played a part in the RAF Fairford incident, but critics are questioning what evidence supports that claim. Attention has also focused on the arrest of five men, initially detained on explosives charges, with reports that no viable explosives were found, prompting doubts about how the case has been presented.
Why now: Sceptics are questioning the official claim linking Iran to the RAF Fairford incident given apparently missing evidence.
