England have named their squad for their series against Pakistan, calling up spinner Jordan Crane while resting fast bowler Jofra Archer. The decision to leave Archer out suggests England are managing his workload ahead of future commitments. Cricket fans are debating whether the rotation is sensible protection for the injury-prone paceman or a risk against a strong Pakistan side.

Why now: England's squad announcement for the Pakistan series is fresh news, and the decision to rest Archer is a talking point among cricket fans.
