Neon to produce open-source SCP Foundation movie

Original: Neon will make a truly open-source SCP movie after A24 controversy https://www.engadget.com/2274276/neon-scp-foundation-

Film studio Neon has announced it will produce a movie based on the SCP Foundation, the collaborative open-source fiction project, following controversy over A24's handling of an earlier SCP adaptation. Fans of the wiki-based horror universe have been closely watching how studios respect the community's Creative Commons licensing, and Neon's commitment to a genuinely open-source film is being welcomed as a resolution.

Why now: A24's earlier SCP film deal drew criticism from the community over the project's open-source licensing, making Neon's announcement a talking point.
