An artist shared an Inktober 2026 illustration showing the Swiss children's book character Ursli bravely holding still as his father tries to shoot an apple off his head, a clear nod to the William Tell legend. The piece, tagged as surrealism, is drawing appreciative engagement from German-speaking art fans.
Why now: Inktober prompts are ongoing, and the dark twist on a beloved Swiss children's character makes the artwork striking and shareable.
