In the Moroccan city of Tangier, groups of young people have taken to the streets waving Palestinian flags in a show of solidarity with Palestinians. Participants describe the display as support for Palestine and a refusal of what they call the war of extermination in Gaza. Similar pro-Palestinian demonstrations have been held across Morocco and the wider region throughout the conflict.
Why now: Ongoing public solidarity with Gaza continues to draw people onto the streets in Morocco.
