Neon announces SCP Foundation film after A24 backlash

Original: Neon sticks it to A24 by announcing a Creative Commons SCP Foundation movie A24 pissed off one of the internet's largest

Film studio Neon has announced a movie based on the SCP Foundation, the collaborative horror fiction project released under a Creative Commons licence. The move follows criticism of A24, which announced its own SCP film without contacting the SCP Wiki team or committing to the licence terms, angering one of the internet's largest horror communities. Neon's announcement is being read as a direct contrast to A24's approach.

Why now: A24's mishandling of the SCP Foundation's Creative Commons licence sparked community backlash, and Neon's compliant rival project is the latest development.
