StreetComplete launches public beta on iOS

StreetComplete, the popular OpenStreetMap app that lets users fix missing map details through simple quests, has released a public beta for iOS. Until now the app was Android-only, so iPhone users could not take part in its gamified map-editing workflow. The beta's arrival means OpenStreetMap contributors on Apple devices can finally add footpaths, opening hours and other data on the go, and the tech community is sharing and debating the release.

Why now: StreetComplete was long Android-only, so an iOS version is a notable expansion for the OpenStreetMap community.
