Tuchel tipped to drop Jordan Pickford from England squad

Original: jordan pickford

Talks are growing that new England manager Thomas Tuchel could leave out veteran goalkeeper Jordan Pickford as part of a changing of the guard in the squad. The 31-year-old Everton keeper, an England regular with 91 caps, has been first choice for years, but reports suggest Tuchel may now favour younger options between the posts.

Why now: Tuchel is reshaping his England squad and Pickford's long-standing place is being questioned.
