Netanyahu says flydubai co-pilot was radicalised
Original: Israel's Netanyahu: Co-pilot of flydubai plane underwent radical Islamist indoctrination
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says the co-pilot of a flydubai plane underwent radical Islamist indoctrination, according to Reuters. The claim puts renewed scrutiny on the airline and raises questions about how the co-pilot may have been recruited or radicalised. Details of the evidence behind the accusation have not been made public, and flydubai has not commented in the available reporting.
Why now: Netanyahu's accusation against a flydubai co-pilot is a serious and unsubstantiated-seeming claim touching aviation security and the Middle East conflict
