Miliband criticised for calling Flydubai attack an 'incident'
Original: Observers baffled after Miliband describes Flydubai terror attack as ‘incident’
Ed Miliband is facing criticism after describing the terror attack on a Flydubai aircraft as an 'incident'. Commentators say the wording downplays what was a deliberate act of terrorism, and the choice of language has prompted bafflement and mockery from observers across the political spectrum.
Why now: His perceived understatement of a terror attack struck many as evasive or tone-deaf, sparking criticism online.
