Dragon fruit flower blooms in mesmerising time lapse
Original: Time lapse of this blossoming! # pitahaya # flower # gardening # timelapse https:// youtu.be/Y04jC8lw6JQ?is=WrIsVo 4xipR
A gardener has shared a time lapse video showing a pitahaya, or dragon fruit, flower blossoming, capturing the rare overnight opening in full. Pitahaya flowers bloom only briefly, usually for a single night, which makes the sped-up footage a treat for gardening enthusiasts. Viewers are enjoying watching the delicate white petals unfurl and admiring the plant's dramatic flowering process.
Why now: The fleeting, night-only bloom of the dragon fruit flower makes the time lapse footage visually striking and worth sharing.
