UK Prime Minister Burnham has said Iran was likely behind an incident at an RAF base, prompting questions over the evidence. According to Al Jazeera, UK, US and Israeli officials have pointed to Iranian involvement, but the basis for those claims remains under scrutiny as analysts and the public ask for proof before conclusions are drawn.
Why now: Claims of Iranian involvement in a UK military base incident carry major diplomatic weight, and the lack of publicly confirmed evidence is fueling debate.
